It is very important to remember to keep your distance from any wild animal, especially one as large as a bear. When it comes to their behaviour towards intruders, make sure to be very careful around any type of bear.<\/p>\n

There is a difference in the behavior of these two bears though. It is crucial to know that the grizzly bear has a tendency to attack if he feels threatened, whereas a black bear tends to avoid confrontations if possible.<\/p>\n

What this means is that both a black bear or grizzly bear can be a danger to humans. And especially females with cubs should never be underestimated!By comparison though, it is a fact that a grizzly bear is more likely to charge or attack if he gets startled or provoked.<\/p>\n
